Zephirin Caisse was the great,great grandson of Francois Caisse dit L'Dragon and Louis Sauvage. He is the son of Louis Thersile Caisse and Sophie Arpin. Zephirin was born in Contrecoeur, Vercheres. P.Q. on the March 30, 1863. His first of three marriages was to Marie Dupre pictured with him on the left. The marriage took place in St. Roch, Richelieu, P.Q. on April 22, 1884. He and Marie had 10 children. After the death of Marie, he was remarried to Malvina Chouinard and then once again to Louise Roy. Zephirin died on November 25, 1929 in Allenstown, Merrimac, N.H.
